Support Women DJs 24-Hour Femme DJ Marathon
Just over a year ago a new women-owned and run collective emerged in NYC with one mission in mind: to create gender equity within the dance music industry. In a male-dominated space, Support Women DJs is a rave community dedicated to all-women lineups, inclusive of nonbinary, trans, intersex, & all of the femme-identifying babes. Meaning any DJ who does not identify as a man.
Starting Saturday, March 29th, to close out International Women’s Month, SWDJ's will be hosting an incredible 24-hour femme DJ marathon at their studio in Brooklyn, NY. This event promises to be a vibrant showcase of all-femme and gender-inclusive talent, standing firmly for the values of inclusivity, love, joy, and, above all, fun!
The best parties and club nights in NYC this month: March 2025
There's gonna be no better way to close out Women's History Month than with Support Women DJ's 24-hour party. Support Women DJs has made a name for itself for booking all-women and femme lineups, and their big event at the end of the month on March 29 will take place at the collective's studio at 260 Meserole Street in Brooklyn.
All proceeds from the party will go towards supporting the Violence Intervention Program (VIP), a Latina-led organization providing critical resources to survivors of domestic and sexual violence in NYC. The event will also be live-streamed on Twitch, bringing its mission to a global audience.

“Brosman hopes that the events will grow throughout different parts of New York and continue to focus on local DJs. ‘I would love to encourage men to come out to see what women DJs can do and the energy they bring to the dance floor,’ she says. ‘But also for men in the industry to come out and see the talent that’s out there so they can be booking more women DJs.”
