HELANG is a Brooklyn-based DJ who recently released an EP through her own imprint, Dauntless Recordings. When the lights are off, HELANG thrives, playing mixes that blend Daft Punk, Razz, and Britney Spears. Her latest single, “From the Back,” is a sexy, electronic dance track complete with whispered lyrics and hypnotizing beats. HELANG has played at some iconic NYC venues including SILO and Elsewhere NYC, as well as E1 in London. Catch her at H0L0 on Nov. 7, celebrating the launch of Dauntless Recordings, presented by Support Women DJs.
As a fashion icon, model, and DJ, PURR can do it all. Playing everything from Jersey Club to baile funk, PURR’s sets will make you feel sexy and energized. PURR has played sets at Le Bain, Mood Ring, and Elsewhere NYC and recently debuted at The Lot Radio with BUNTOPIA, “the galaxy’s premier $trip club.” You can hear PURR play at The Bush on Nov. 1st.
The NYC-based DJ and founder of one of the hottest parties, Zoobiana, aka Big Zur, is just getting started. Zoobiana recently celebrated the two-year anniversary of her party, Zodiac Aphrodisiac, a monthly event featuring DJs with star signs in that astrological season. The water sign and event-extraordinaire plays iconic mixes guaranteed to make you dance featuring afrobeats, pop music, 2000s rap, and Dancehall. You can see her play at Hart Bar on Halloween Eve alongside Notagami.
Based in New York, queer, Mexican-American DJ Coco Prosecco has played all over the city, with sets including everything from nu-disco to Latin Tech House. Coco was also a featured DJ at “TutuTú Y Yo,” a Latin tech/bass house tutu party at Burning Man, alongside Rey Solo and GMZ. This past summer, Coco headlined at Femme Fontaine BK’s “Fridays are Femme” event, hosted by Support Women DJs.
DJ Lucia Haze is multi-talented creative who recently DJed in the middle of Times Square with FEMME HOUSE. With dynamic sets full of techno music and ethereal beats, Haze has played at Keybar, The Standard, and SILO. Haze also has her own record label, Deep Inside Rec, where she represents producers and artists from around the world.
Based in Amsterdam and NYC, DJ Luna Laila is guaranteed to show up to her events in an incredible fit. The visual artist, model, and DJ plays around the world with mixes featuring everything from Afro House to Jersey Club to R&B. Laila recently celebrated her one-year DJ anniversary by playing a set at the radio station, HÖR Berlin. You can also listen to her latest singles on Spotify.
NYC-based DJ Nishévitha is always playing at (and throwing) the hottest events. Her sets are unmatched, as she mixes popular 90s Tamil songs and electronic music at spots like Bossa Nova Civic Club and Bar Jade.
